New Volunteer: Mary Johnson

Please welcome Mary Johnson, our newest No One Dies Alone (NODA) volunteer! Mary is a clinical research coordinator in the department of Radiation Oncology. In her role as a NODA volunteer, she will be providing support to patients at end of life in the Rochester hospitals.

Q: Are you originally from the Rochester area? If not, where else have you lived?
A: I grew up in Rose Creek, MN, about 40 minutes southwest of Rochester.

Q: When you aren't volunteering, what else do you like to do?
A: Draw, garden, ride our motorcycle, spend time with family.

Q: What three items would you take with you to a deserted island?
A: Another person, food, and a bed, LOL

Q: What is your proudest accomplishment?
A: Raising a child to be a good human.

Q: What is your favorite thing about Mayo Clinic?
A: The care for the patients.
