Lewy Body Dementia Summit Recap - recorded content and more!

May 11, 2021 | Jodi Melius | @jodimelius

Last week 400 attendees from across the country and world tuned in to the Lewy Body Dementia Summit to learn about resources and gain knowledge and support.

Below are a few reactions from our attendees:

“The LBD event was very informative, helpful, and well done Thank you so much. I'm heartened to learn of all the resources out there.”

“I found this helpful, as I found the support groups helpful, to normalize our experiences.”

Next week on the Hub, recorded content from key presenters at the Summit will be featured in the newsfeed. Keep your eyes peeled for a new video each week.

Todd Graham of the Lewy Body Dementia Association (LBDA) graciously joined the Summit to speak about the services, resources, and mission of the LBDA.

The LBDA provides support for persons diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia (LBD) and their caregivers. Over the weekend, they shared a tribute to honor mothers diagnosed with LBD on their Facebook page.

The LBDA highlighted a few of these tributes on their website, including a touching video by REO Speedwagon frontman, Kevin Cronin.

Thank you to Todd Graham, the staff and volunteers of the LBDA for their tireless work to improve the quality of life for those with LBD and their caregivers.
