Frankenstein Project - Novella Contest 2018

From the Rochester Public Library:

Contestants are asked to write a novella using 1 or more of the following fundamental themes of the Mary Shelley novel Frankenstein:

  • The Other: disability, differences, and disenfranchisement
  • Humanity’s response to technology: creatively expanding horizons and possibilities; using technology to solve human problems.
  • Creativity and the responsibility for what has been created.
  • Vengeance and futility
  • Community: what it means to be human; what is the measure of humanity?
