Because of PMR ... I have tapered from 30mg to now 2 mg ... The Prednisone withdrawal created some ... - but all the discussions in this PMR ... say this - at suboptimal doses of Prednisone

Sorry to hear you joined the PMR club ... and was started on 20 mg prednisone ... kept a daily log to help with the tapering ... off of prednisone and logged my level ... Does the 10 mg daily dose of prednisone

Hello @queensfaith8, I would like to add my welcome to Connect along with @dadcue and others....
lot of weight my first go round with PMR ... One of things I did after my first PMR ... changes for me as my second time with PMR ... lasted 1-1/2 years before I was able to taper ... off of prednisone.

Hi @stevieb, I had symptoms of PMR and ... The PMR was unrelenting pain and stiffness ... positive for GCA, I started with 40 mg prednisone ... and tapered off it after a year and ... Now I'm back on 40 mg prednisone
