venlafaxine it's extremely difficult to taper ... off and should never be done quickly ... My struggles tapering off of prednisone ... going through but I have learned to taper ... off of the Effexor.

Well unfortunately I've had a relapse and I am back to 15mg of prednisone per day....

helloshelly7969 - I have PMR and can share that prednisone ... years ago I was put on 20 mg dosage of prednisone ... and it took me 3 years to taper off ... I was put back on a dose of 20 mg prednisone ... only side effect I have had from the prednisone

PMR came out it took me 3 years to taper ... off of prednisone. ... for a year before he was able to get off ... of the prednisone.

Hi Barbara, don't give up. My PMR went into remission after 3 years of tapering off...
went into remission after 3 years of tapering ... off of prednisone. ... August and I too am struggling to get off ... withdrawal pain but more likely that the prednisone ... causes the pain so you take away the prednisone
