I've had two occurrences of PMR ... occurrences were treated starting with 20 mg prednisone ... It took me 3-1/2 years to taper off ... The second occurrence of PMR was 6 years ... later and it took me another 1-1/2 to taper

symptoms (inflammation) which is what the prednisone ... differently and can take longer to taper ... off of the prednisone and there are ... first time took me 3-1/2 years to taper ... second time it took me 1-1/2 years to taper

muscles while on higher dosages of Prednisone ... Prednisone use is not fun, but it beats ... Tapering is really individualized and ... We have a tendency to rush the taper ... much sometimes, and the very slow taper
