the freezer but they were just too cold ... fill with ice and then hold it in my hand ... and place on top of feet.

Icing seems to work for many/most people. I have virtually no neuropathy and I had 10...
They make special gloves for your hands ... and booties for your feet. ... the inserts (which they might keep cold ... wear at first, because sometimes the cold ... Some cold is better than none.
