I am85 and have had PMR for over 30 years and have been taking prednisone for...
over 30 years and have been taking prednisone ... I had tapered to 1m for over 10 years ... and the surgeon wanted me to go off prednisone ... confused about what the effects of prednisone ... I hate to have to begin again on prednisone

Hi …I agree that’s it works better to ramp down slowly. I’ve had PMR since last...
PMR since last spring and started on prednisone ... When I get to 6mg, I’ll taper 1 month ... s really hard to be patient on the tapering ... acupuncture for three months before going on prednisone
