The Dolores Jean Lavins Center for Humanities in Medicine is proud to sponsor the 2022 volume of the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine Creative Arts Publication, The Tempest.
The Tempest is a collection of poetry, prose and visual art meant to illustrate the growth of a medical student into a medical professional. Each year, students submit work that is collected into the annual creative arts publication.
Congratulations to the editors: Andréa Collins, Patrick Brennan, Rebekah Dennison, Neha Deo, Yeonsoo Sarah Lee, Emily Wu, Henry Zheng and Sherry Zhou.
From Editor in Chief, Andréa Collins: “As I near the end of medical school, Ferdinand’s relief reminds me to continue to brave the storms around us, to recognize the pain and beauty of the journey, and to hold on to hope. May the talent and wisdom contained in this edition bring you light.”
We are honored to have the opportunity to help foster original works by these future leaders in the practice of medicine.
