We'd like to acknowledge our Charter House interdisciplinary teams in our care areas for their dedication to our residents.

Not only do you provide for our residents’ health needs, but you're also a listening ear and a companion. You recognize our residents as the individuals they are - with unique personalities, experiences, and preferences. You go above and beyond to ensure they feel special and feel cared for. You comfort them during times of stress and grief and share in their laughter during times of joy. You provide person-centered care adding love and purpose to their days. Thank you for your selflessness and for choosing your profession; serving and caring for others. You make a true difference in the lives of our residents, and we are so grateful!

Do you have any health care workers you'd like to thank?  If so, comment below!

Dear Dr. Harless, Jenn, Veronica, and the Mayo team,

I want to sincerely thank all of you for the incredible care and kindness I received during my breast reduction surgery yesterday. From the very beginning, every detail was handled with such professionalism, but what touched me most was the warmth, patience, and genuine compassion you showed.

Dr. Harless, I am deeply grateful for your expertise and the time you took to guide me through this important step. Jenn, your gentle and thoughtful care made me feel so safe and supported. Veronica, thank you so much for your help with insurance and coordination—it gave me such peace of mind knowing everything was taken care of. And to the entire team—including the residents and nurses—I truly felt surrounded by people who wanted the very best for me.

This experience, which I had been both nervous and hopeful about, has been made so much easier because of you. Even the little moments of kindness—like the smiles and lighthearted comments—helped me more than you can imagine. As a small personal note, I also brought home two comfort buddies from Mayo: a little yellow calf I named “Dr. Harless” and a little bear I named “Jennifer.” They will always remind me of the warmth I felt from all of you, and they are now officially part of my “support team.” 💛🐮🐻

Thank you again for your care, skill, and humanity. I feel very lucky to have been in your hands.

With gratitude,
Hailey
