@artscaping. I, too, have had the vast majority of my doctors be caring, intelligent and professional people. I have only had a few doctors who have not been very nice, and I stopped going to them. It is sad that many have not had good experiences with their doctors. I find P.A.s to not be that good, but nurse practitioners and doctors have been really good. Perhaps they aren’t teaching good bedside manners at medical schools any longer? Also, medicine isn’t like it used to be. Lots of red tape and insurance problems. Many doctors feel overwhelmed and disheartened that they spend more time arguing with insurance companies than practicing medicine. I pray those of you who have not found a good doctor will come across one soon. It makes all the difference in the world with the treatment of your health.

@jenapower I can get on board with that suggestion. I don’t think your the “bad guy” nor am I upset at you in any manner. I think you have a valid point and a good solution to the problem.

Sometimes a good remedy for pain is to have a strong support network. There are things you can say here that one may not feel comfortable stating on Facebook. Perhaps there can be a separate thread for emotional and social support?

@peach414144. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your fur baby. I understand how difficult such a loss can be. I sure wish cats and dogs lived longer as they bring so much comfort and joy. I, personally, believe they go to heaven and we will see them again. Hugs. ❤

@jimhd. Sure hope everyone is cautious wirh watching the eclipse. Sounds like fun, but hope people, especially kids, don’t damage their eyes.

@contentandwell. Yes, I would gladly be a “leaf peeper”! The fall is my favorite time of year. I have decided to make plans to go this year. I’m not getting any younger or healthier!

@parus. I am so very sorry you feel that way. Please do not give up hope. I have been helped and so have others I know. You just haven’t found the solution for you, but don’t give uo hope that it is out there. Hugs.

I, too, keep a list in my purse of all current meds – OC included. Also lists what I am allergic to and my known medical issues.
