Nov 10, 2012 · Leg and foot cramps in Bones, Joints & Muscles

I have been experiencing leg and foot cramps for several months now. They are extremely painful! In the early mornings, especially, and while still in bed, the muscles in my legs start “popping” or “bouncing” and if I don’t get up, I more than likely will begin experiencing cramping. For a while – before this began – I was getting B12 shots once every week for about 6 months. The same dr. who had me begin the shots later told me that B12 can cause leg cramps…sigh… I stopped getting the B12 shots as soon as I heard that, but the cramping hasn’t stopped…AT ALL! I do take a Calcium/Magnesium/Potassium supplement, before going to bed, every night and it did help for a while, but the cramps are back. Ugh! My THANKS to anyone who can shed some light and possibly advise! God bless you!

Nov 10, 2012 · Bleeding in Women's Health

I am a 46 year old woman. I have PCOS. I “thought” I was going through menopause – night sweats, hot spells, etc. I haven’t had a period for over two years – and with PCOS haven’t ever had a “normal” or “regular” period throughout my entire life. On Oct 18, 2012 I began to spot a little and within a few days, I was bleeding…a lot! I do not have shortness of breath, nor do I feel much fatigue…I guess. On the 15th of November (in 5 more days), I will have been bleeding for an entire month. The bleeding is heavy and with a lot of clots. The clots aren’t “big”, but there are a lot of ’em. I am soaking a pad every hour…or when I cough, get up from a chair, stretch, laugh…oy!! I am wearing 3-4 pads at a time. I don’t want to go see my doctor (don’t have health insurance) just to have him tell me to go home, take a couple of ibuprofens and stay off my feet. I can do that on my own. =} Has anyone had this happen? Should I be worried? Normal? My THANKS! to anyone who can shed some light! God bless you! =}
