Well i have Factor V Leiden, but have seemed to be having problems. I started to get DVT’s on warfarin a blood thinner this as you know is not normal. Usually people with Factor V may have one clot if any but with me i seemed to be doing something not right. So the new haemotologist is trying to find what is wrong has done many a blood test and will also look at the recent scans on my legs were the clots have occurred. My INR is usually within the normal range 2.5 3 but during the time i clot as you no i fall out of the therapeutic range Thanks for your interest
Thanks for the reply do you know what you might be interested in there are so many opportunites and paths you can go down. I have had just to change to a different haematologist to try to help me further. You know overseas knowledge of medicine is so much more ahead of us in Australia

I myself have just seen a new haemotlogist and am hoping for some answers too Take care Piglit

Hi Brittney can’t answer the question as to why no further investigations were done, that’s why i suggested maybe to get a second opinion with a specialist who specializes in this area Takecare Piglit
