An Aerobika is fine but does not do what a vest or VibraLung does. National Jewish gave me one years ago. I was only prescribe a vest or VibraLung last year. Maybe aAerobika is sufficient for less serious cases??.

I have been using the VibrALung for more than a year. I love it. I’m small, tried vests when I was in the hospital with an exacerbation. Shook my body too hard. As for expense, it was about $3,000, and many meds can cost that over a year or a month, but you own this. Should last a few years. Easy to use, easy to clean. Specialist in Bronch/MAC at UNC said it was as effective as vest.
Huge question on time it takes: I use Pari Vios Pro. Neb 4ml of 7% saline twice a day. Each time takes 25 minutes. Gwen Huitt is my doctor at National Jewish. They expect it to take this long. What am I missing? How could the saline be delivered in 2 or 5 minutes?
On cleaning: talked again to my Pulmonary therapist. A year ago, she told me the easiest way: buy a baby bottle sterilizer. The Phillips Aventi cost about $19. Put 7 oz water in bottom. Lay all mouthpiece components on bottle rack. Close. Microwave 2 minutes. She reminded me I need to do that every day, once a day. As for tubing, just look at it to see if any moisture or droplets inside. If so, plug the compressor back in, run air through tube a couple of minutes, watch the drops fly out. Total cleaning time per day about 4 minutes.
