Out of all of the replies on this thread was anyone diagnosed as a teenager, and in their late 20's early 30's now? I struggle with the fact that I haven't met anyone my age that has been through this and would like to connect.

Sun, Sep 15 8:07pm · Optic Nerve Sheath Meningioma, Radiation and Vision Issues in Brain Tumor
I was diagnosed at age 13 with this and it took the vision from my left eye. When I started I had zero vision. Upon completion of radiation (30 treatments), I had some Peripheral vision return (I could count cards with my left eye only). After a year I believe I lost all vision in my left eye. I didn't even know I was blind in that eye until I had a sports physical! I'm so sorry that you are having these issues with balance. I do know that driving at night is harder for me, but I make sure to keep my distance from the other vehicles.
I hope this has provided some comfort as you are not alone in this. Are you having any symptoms from the radiation? Mine just made me very sleepy, and hungry!
