Dec 28, 2019 · Congestive heart failure in Heart & Blood Health

Yes I live far away. I have siblings but am not able to get info. I was able to talk with nurse this week. I know nothing about this condition. I am told I am not on list for them to talk with me. Though I did connect with a nurse who answered and explained basics. She is now in a care center. Won’t be able to go home. Has oxygen. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Dec 27, 2019 · My clonazepam story: More regulation seems to be coming in Addiction & Recovery

I am 63 and have taken clonazapam since 1997. I take 1.0 a day and am able to take another.5 in afternoon if I feel the need. My psychiatrist has never said I will need to taper. I have talked to him and he says it works and all good. Three months ago he did add buspiron as I have had some serious stress and anxiety. I have not heard anything about clonazapam being taken less like opioids. Where are you hearing this? My visits are scheduled every three months for renewal of prescription. He says he is required a face to face to renew but I have gone six months at times.

Just learned my mom who will be 97 in January has had congestive heart failure for a long time. She has a pacemaker and some machine in her bedroom to monitor. Three weeks ago her legs and feet began swelling and Monday they were weeping. She has been in the hospital since Monday on iv meds. She was released today with oxygen. She fell and broke her wrist and pelvis several months ago. She is now unable to walk. I am out of state and not getting enough information. What is the outcome for this and is it time to go home? I really know little about this and everything seems to be happening quickly.

I think it's best if I stay out of this loop. I'm not sure why this might be helpful. I understand and have empathy for all of you who have heart valve issues. Everyone is different and their heart valve are too. We feel best with what the team of cardiologists, surgeon and our NP is doing and their process. My husband is being entered in the Registry with the FDA. All is progressing. I really do wish you the best with your journey!

My husband is taking midodrine for low blood pressure. It has helped. Sometimes it is still on lower side but not as bad.

Aug 28, 2019 · Aortic Stenosis & Valve Replacement in Heart & Blood Health

Cardiologist told us yesterday that this past week the TAVR procedure is approved for people with low risk. Someone in the thread said it is not done on bicuspid aortic valve. That is not true. It can be done.

Yes, I think his cardiologist and neurologist have been very helpful. Mike is anxious for the heart cath and I am too. He is nervous of waking up a vegetable. His words. While we are told positive things, he questions how it can be fixed. I don't remember a CT of the heart, but he had a partial echo with bubble study.

Update for my husband. He is having a heart cath in the morning so they can look closer at the aortic stenosis and will do a right/left of the other arteries. The doctor said this is the step before the tvar. My husband also will see a cardiologist EP cuz they said there are rhythm signs and symptoms during the latest monitor.
