You can upgrade just with the external processor. Are you asking if you could also upgrade the interior part of the CI?

Yes Colleen. I have a N6 in one ear and wear an hearing aid in the other. Do you have a CI?

Nov 6, 2019 · Mayo Clinic Minute: New technology for cochlear implants in Hearing Loss

Many people with hearing loss may benefit from cochlear implants. The technology, which has been available for decades, has helped children and adults hear better, and sometimes for the first time. Dr. Colin Driscoll, a Mayo Clinic head and neck surgeon, says new technology used during the implantation procedure is making the devices even better.

Quick update. Since this problem has been solved. It wasn't necessary for me to leave the screen shot graphic in the web server I use. Thus you may now get a not found clicking on the link in the op, grin.

I have this problem in some of the browsers I use, not all of them. As for the ones I have a problem with, I find that it helps if I zoom to 90% of the screen, rather than using up the whole 100%. It's a good temporary solution. And the last I heard, HLAA and the webmaster were also working on this issue.

Anyone else also having this problem of the Top purple bar being too big in their Walk4Hearing page? To the point that the Top purple bar is blocking the top of the page below? I've already notified the webmaster about it. And if needed, would also like to let the webmaster know that there are also other users out there that have the same problem. Thanks.

Shown below is a print screen:

And if needed, here's the Walk4Hearing page if you'd like to take a look to see if you also have the same problem?

May 10, 2019 · Hearing loss: How do you identify yourself to others? in Hearing Loss

I'm another that tend to say I'm hearing-impaired to hearing people. Cause I find that it lessens the tone of the "cannot hear part". Whereas "deaf" may make them think that you cannot hear anything at all which usually isn't the case, particularly for those who wear an HA or CI.
