I’m glad she is feeling better.
So you would suggest doing a test that look for food allergies? It’s not another scam?

Hello. I have a discussion about my health issues incase anyone wants any background. I posted this differently because I wanted to know if anyone has ever heard of or tried this nail in test. It’s from Everlywell and it’s called Food Sensitivity Test? I’m desperate and trying pretty much anything. I’ve googled it and just wanting to know if anyone knows anything about it. Thank you 😊

Hello everyone. Things are still not going well…. my stomach is still very bloated, vomiting, and the rest of my issues. I tried to get an appointment at Mayo in MN and they wouldn’t take my insurance, I’m wondering if I’m referred by my GI doctor maybe they will see me, although I’m not sure what they can do. I see GI at the end of the month. I’m afraid they will want to do a temporary bag and I’m just not ready for that. I’m afraid it won’t work or when they reconnect things won’t work (they aren’t doing that great the way it is). I’m thinking about seeing a holistic doctor. I feel like I’ve tried everything else…. has anyone had success with holistic therapy? I know my scar tissue is a big problem but no surgeon will go in and remove them. We all know it’s a catch 22, but I need relief. They are afraid more damage could be done with surgery. So until I have a life threatening obstruction, I think they will push for the bag, which is also a gamble. Just wondering what to do???? Everyone on here has been helpful, and I’d really appreciate so input. Holistic doctor or the bag? Or try and be seen at Mayo. They’ve seen me before but insurance is an issue. I’m so frustrated with my health and no have to deal with insurance!!! I feel the people in charge of insurance and money has never suffered the way we all have. Health and quality of life should be more important than what type of insurance I have 😡🙄. This just sucks. Opinions and ideas are always welcome and helps to keep me grounded and more knowledgeable about these problems.

No one will do surgery due to the massive amount of scar tissue. And the scar tissue could be the thing that’s causing problems, but nothing is showing up on any X-rays. Guess there is no fix for scar tissue. I’m afraid of an NG tube, or getting a temporary bag so nothing touches my intestines. I’m pretty sure I’ve tried just about everything and I’m at a loss….

What type of things did your PT do to help? If you don’t mind me asking

Hello friends, it’s been awhile since I’ve checked in. I’m just having the worst time and finding no relief. I think my GI doctor has done all the testing he can and the options are not great. He’s still trying but running out of options.
A quick recap (hopefully I don’t forget anything)
I have Crohn’s, Gastroparesis, IBS with constipation, slow transit colon (not sure that’s the technical term) SIBO, massive scar tissue, blockages, obstructions, severe bloating, EOE. I’m sure I’ve forgotten something, it sucks when your list of health problems is longer than your grocery list😔
I’ve tried lots of things (see previous posts) I tried all herbal including medical cbd and THC, I’m not sure if it’s making things worse or not. Tried Acupuncture. I’ve lived with the stomach pain basically my whole life, but the constant vomiting is making things really hard.
NG tube, temporary bag (to give my insides a complete rest), and waiting for a major obstruction and then maybe a risky surgery.
As I’ve stated many times my GI doctor gets it and me and doesn’t push me aside because the test results come back normal, although throwing up 4-5 days a week(sometimes more) run show something that they really can’t do anything for, or testing and finding nothing🙄
I’m exhausted and wondering if I should get a 2nd opinion from Mayo before tubes and bags start happening. I’m a single mom and feeling like a let down to my son. I want and need to get better for him and myself.
I guess to sum things up: where do I go from here? ??????? It’s been a year that I have been struggling with “episodes” and I’m no better.
Feeling lost and helpless. Suggestions, tips, advice are very much welcome and appreciated.
I hope everyone is doing better or have found things to help you feel better. I pray for all of you, this struggle is real for each and everyone of us.
I feel like I’ve lost direction, nothing works.
If it’s nit asking to much, I’d appreciate feedback on suggestions as what to try or do next.

Wed, May 29 4:21pm · Severe Bloating and Distention in Digestive Health

Hello @faithful55. Yes, I’m still doing acupuncture and physical therapy. Unfortunately due to the amount of scar tissue and the time it’s been there it may take a bit longer. They have both given some relief and sort of showing signs of things softening up, but very little. I did have the colon transit test done and that showed that my colon is not functioning properly. So we can add that to Crohn’s, Gastroparesis, IBS, scar tissue. A whole lot of things working against me. Doing the breath test now to see if any bacteria or anything is hanging around as well…ugh. When that’s done I’m going to try some new herbal pills I’ve been looking into. And if nothing works they are going to give me a temporary colostomy bag ( I can’t remember the medical term they used) that way they can give my insides a “total rest” and hopefully things will work. But it still doesn’t help my Gastroparesis or stopping obstructions. I’m also looking into medical Cbd and thc to see if that will help and not have the side effects pain meds and everything else has. Unfortunately mine is going to take some time and I’m so over it, lol.
On top of that my 12 year old will be having A colonoscopy and endoscopy in a couple weeks because he is having stomach issues. It’s a hot mess at this house, lol, but hoping it all works itself out. Honestly if the doctor is coming up with nothing then I’d try the acupuncture or look into some herbal stuff. My GI doctor is really open for me trying whatever works. He’s more concerned with my health than pushing pills. And I’m so thankful for that. I’m hoping in another month I should be more confident in an answer about the acupuncture. I wish you the best and please let me know how your test turns out. I will let you know if I have a sudden break thru, otherwise I’ll be keeping up with acupuncture and herbal medicine. Something has to work🤞
Good luck and thank you for checking in, it’s been a little crazy here.

Tue, May 21 10:15am · Chronic small bowel obstruction from adhesions in Digestive Health

Hello, I’ve written on here about some of the other problems… Gastroparesis, Crohn’s disease, EOE, slow moving colon, bloating, bruising on my stomach, im sure there is more. My bloating has not gone down in over 6 months. My GI doctor knows that I have a massive amount of scar tissue that could be causing my blockages or obstructions. But no one will do surgery due to the high risk. Basically my inside are cemented together by all the scar tissue. I’ve been going to PT, and acupuncture , to try and get relief. It’s been close to month and not really gotten that far. Does anyone know anything about scar tissue or if the Mayo Clinic has any doctors that deal with it or any studies going on a Mayo Clinic? The pain that comes with all my other issues and the pain and damage my scar tissue is causing along with this bloating is really frustrating. I’ve been looking everywhere to find something or someone and have come up with nothing. Any suggestions???? Thank you
