Thank you for asking. Prep was really tough…test was OK, though I was extremely nauseous as I have been for months. Dr. Removed a polyp and I am waiting for report. He feels everything is OK. He prescribed mea med for IBS. It isn't doing anything much! Still nauseous. Months of feeling like I have the stomach flu…but can't throw up!!! My insurance denied my going to Cleveland Clinic, and he doesn't feel I need to be in the hospital here, even with the extreme weight loss. My discharge orders were to drink more Ensure and eat a lot more protein. (Just what you want when you feel like hanging your head over a bucket!!) Sure wish these Drs would have to spend one day like this!!! Am really discouraged!!! Not much hope here!! SO looking forward to heaven!!
Thanks for checking on me! Bless you!!!
No, am in NY State…the Southern Tier. 2 hours from Buffalo and Rochester. The Dr knows…I will never take Monurol again. Just praying I can eventually get some nutrition I to me!! Losing half a pound a day is pretty scary…when it has been months!! The colonoscopy got scheduled!! This Wednesday at 12:30. Hope they find something that is treatable…though I expect them to say "all normal!!" Praying I get admitted to Strong Memorial's Gastro Dept if that happens!!!
Yes, and yes. Everything keeps coming back normal. Just had a call from my insurance…the colonoscopy was approved last Thursday, but on Friday I had a call from the Dr's office that it had been denied. That is the kind of runaround I keep getting!!!! Meanwhile, my insurance will not approve Cleveland Clinic until all In Network resources have been exhausted. SO, they were going to try to get me into University of Rochester Gastro dept…though probably not until after the colonoscopy. And they wonder WHY I'm stressed!!!
It was written today…March 18, 2019. Waiting for a phone call as to what is next. Thought I might get a referral to Cleveland Clinic, but Dr says have to have a colonoscopy first. So weak, I can't imagine doing it! My insurance Denied the colonoscopy request because the hospital where the specialist does them is not In Network!! The Dr resubmitted the request ! Meanwhile, I continue to lose 1/2 a pound a day. Pretty soon they won't have to bother with me!!
