I have had two CTs since my surgery due to pain. They couldn't find anything either.

That's exactly how surgeons react to complications that don't involve the surgery. Mine told me that I'm healthy and recovering well. I'm not.

This helped a lot. I've been severely constipated since the surgery. I have no urge to go without laxatives. I was prescribed LInzess and told to take Milk of Magnesia when I need it. I need it at least every three days. I get horrible stomach pain that feels like trapped gas. I can't eat when this happens and I've lost a lot of weight. Sometimes it happens before I eat, at times after. Gas-X helps, but the pain leaves me afraid to eat anything.

I was told my surgery would "give me my life back" and that I would be able to eat what I wanted. So far, that's definitely not the case. I also obsess over this and spend way too much time online trying to diagnose myself. I expected my body to have changed after the surgery, but I didn't expect chronic constipation and abdominal pain.

Jackie, can I ask what stomach issues you were having?

Miralax does not work for me or maybe I'm not patient enough to wait 4 days for it to work. I take Linzess and Milk of Magnesia when that doesn't work as well.

I bought Senna tea. I haven't tried it yet.

I definitely would welcome going several times a day. I've been taking Milk of Magnesia and Linzess. The Milk of Magnesia always works, but often uncomfortable and hard to clean. The Linzess works sporadically, but when it does, I barely make it to the bathroom.

I'm also 3 months post op. I'm always having some kind of pain. I just had my 2nd CAT scan since the surgery. Everything looks fine, all my labs are fine. I'm still severely constipated. I know I needed this surgery, but I still can't help regretting it.
