My hubs is on day 5 of cilantro and it seems to be helping a bit. I put it in the blender with OJ and frozen strawberries and it's good!! Even my kids like it! LOL! I'll keep you posted. He's still taking the pills as well, but didn't feel like they were doing anything.

I just ordered 200 pills on amazon for my hubs. He ate a ton with tacos last night and laughed that maybe he should have meat with his cilantro. His was nearly gone and now suddenly coming back again with a vengeance. So frustrated. He has been taking a zinc pill each day, not sure that's doing anything. Back to high dose steroid cream to try to get it under control again. 🙂 I'll keep you all posted about the cilantro

My hubs is going on over a year. He wishes to have relief. Things seem to work, and then he has to stop them. Like, the high dose vitamin A was great, but could only go on 2 weeks. The high steroid cream works, but can only go on 2 weeks. He keeps getting secondary rashes, which we are putting zinc on, and he is taking zinc pills. A friend of my mom's is a famous doc and he suggested that this could be related to the adrenal gland and suggested drenamin. Anyone else try this?

Was the yeast on your skin? Just curious because we got thrush out of nowhere last year and other odd things…

We have really struggled. I do have something that may help forever or temporarily. My husband was told to take 150,000 units of vitamin A per day (50,000 three times per day) for 2 weeks. The grovers was almost gone. Then after 2 weeks, he was supposed to go down to 50,000 per day and within a few days of the lower dose, it started coming back. 🙁 He also developed a second rash that we weren't sure if it was a reaction to the allergy pills (go figure) or a virus. That went away and is now back (without the allergy pills for weeks). I feel like he has some sort of systemic thing, but bloodwork and urinalysis are all normal. Someone else told me to try having him each a bunch of cilantro each day (but we haven't tried yet) and zinc (both topically and orally).

I greatly appreciate your response. he is currently prescribed mometasone (.1%) and aug. bethamethazone (.05%). It just seems to get worse daily (for many many months on end). We read this can go on for decades and I feel so badly for him. Thanks again I wrote down what you're taking and sent the doc. an email. 🙂
