I had about 6 cold laser treatments. The effects lasted a couple of months (I could wear shoes that I couldn't before).

I have had low level laser therapy about 4 times beginning March of 17 (12 sessions), June 17 (4 sessions), September 17 (6 sessions) and January of 19 (4 sessions). It helped me quite noticeably the first session. After that it was maintenance to keep the neuropathy in my feet and not let it start traveling up my ankles and lower legs. It seems that about 3 times per year of 4 to 6 sessions work for me. My neuropathy now consists of numbness in the bottom of my feet and a tenderness in the top of my feet that requires only the most comfortable and loose shoes.
thanks John-that sounds like a good plan. I've had pn 5 years. So far I just have numbness in my feet (not totally numb) and a tightness on the tops of my feet and ankles-most shoes I can't wear for very long, but I do have several pair that are comfortable. Guess I'm lucky it hasn't progressed any further.
It is kind of hard to tell. My pn in my feet have been worse the past 4 days. I had 2 drinks the last 3 nights but I've also had too much snack food and sweets. In general, 2 drinks twice a week doesn't bother me; although usually I only have one 2 to 3 times a week.
