Aug 6, 2018 · My CSW Tinnitus Cure Discovery! in Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT)

I have had tinnitus practically all my life and found out why in my teen years when I went to ENT Dr. And had otosclerosis in both ears. I am now 71 and it doesn't bother me so much because I have had it for so long. Had surgeries on both ears starting at 17 years old. Now am deaf in left ear, due to failure of Stapes operation after several years and very bad hearing with aid in right ear. I am told nothing but a cochlear implant might help. Also I sometimes sing in my mind a song I may have heard over and over and it takes my mind off of all the weird noises from tinnitus. I do not know if this would help anyone else though. Good luck and God bless.

Aug 2, 2018 · Hearing loss in one ear after knee surgery; no tumor in Hearing Loss

I have been going to ent since I was 17 years old with several surgeries. I have otosclerosis both ears. Left is deaf now because surgery probably destroyed nerve and hearing aids won't work. The right is getting worse and worse and aid is not helping much . Told I need a cochlear because another aid won't help either. I didn't quite understand why you needed a hearing test after knee surgery and they told you your hearing is fine? First surgery I was 17 years old and have had tinnitus most of my life but I am used to it I guess. But I noticed i sing songs in my mind only and maybe why it doesn't bother me so much.
