There definitely is staging for non Hodgkin's lymphoma, but that's all I know. It's done by biopsy of lymph glands or tumors, and then that determines the treatment. I wish you good luck.

I don't know if this is helpful, but I simply had my hair shaved off. Seemed less torturose somehow…

Merry, you are a great excuse maker. Your comments make me feel better. One time years ago, before NHL I drove to the gym, sat there in my car and then went home! Crazy. Now I am back, but it is an effort, as you now. Hang in there. gp

Feb 9, 2019 · Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma- Watch & Wait Approach in Blood Cancers & Disorders

Great shirt and nice photo. My friend sent me a poem when I was in chemo with a roaring tiger (my nickname)

Hang in there. gp

Thanks to everybody for checking in. After surgery and chemo in 2017 for stage 1 Non Hodgkins Lymphoma found on a fluke, my doc in January 2019 says I am cured and just need yearly checkups with PET scan, unless I have symptoms. So I feel pretty good, but worry about recurrences no matter what he says. I hope all of you do well. You all sound so much more challenged and braver than I feel that I have been. Hang in there, Warriors. gp

Feb 2, 2019 · Exercise during chemo in Cancer: Managing Symptoms

Oddly enough, I was able to exercise throughout my R-CHOP for Non hodgkins lymphoma in 2017 but now am having more trouble staying active. Recently, however, I have decided that my Bipolar, in a deperessive episode, has contributed to my stuborness regarding exercise. So my Psych Doc changed my meds, and I am back in the gym! I hope this lasts long enough for me to get back in the habit. Thanks, gp

When I can get my butt to the gym I do also like the rowing and reclining elliptical bike. The trick is getting myself there… All the talk about activity on this site is encouraging me.
