Good luck today! Be sure to eat well, exercise and stay hydrated throughout your treatments and apply cream to your breast several times a day even if you don’t see any redness. ♥️

Julie, I have gone through this and don’t try to be strong for others. Now is the time to let your family and friends be strong for you.

Thank you Lisa. I had side effects right from the 1st treatment which started with mild burning and pain on my sides. I was since told they are adding my booster to the regular daily treatment and since the beam goes side ways it exits the side and could be cause for pain. I finished my 5th today and am terrified of bad burns. I accidentally saw pics from the radiation cream relief product reviews on Amazon that my sister got for me. I would appreciate any tips on how to not get my mind honed in on burns and pain through the rest of the 2 weeks I have.

I’ve had breast cancer three times in the past 12 years. Most recent was two years ago.
Hang in there and I’m here to support you.

It’s funny that you say that because I went online to look at photos for another reason and the doctor I was seeing said that in all her 25 years practicing, she’s never seen a patient with symptoms that bad. So much for the internet!

I would use Aquaphor ointment at least four times a day regardless of whether or not I was red.

I also used aloe Vera. I actually had an aloe Vera plant that I bought at Walmart and when I was a little pink, I would cut a bit of the leaves and use the gel from the plant. You can also buy aloe in a bottle.

Did you ask if you can take Tylenol? That may help. I’ll keep you in my thoughts. ♥️

Thank you Lisa! That helps a lot. I will also start applying multiple times a day. I started using the radiation burn relief cream so perhaps in a few days I will know if it’s working or not. Started taking Advil as well for the pain and swelling. Maybe I shouldn’t have gone with the 3 week booster + regular treatment in one to get it over with quickly. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Yes. I just found out a week ago. I am not sure if the invasive part is pleomorphic. This is all so confusing. I was also diagnosed with LCIS classic type and DCIS. The report doesn't say if the invasive lobular carcinoma is pleomorphic.
