I have been diagnosed with LCIS-classic type but diagnosed in May of 2022 but have not been place on any medication because I had to have an excisional biopsy first because I had some neoplasia around the LCIS and I also had a back fusion in July so they had to postpone my biopsy until December 2022. Biopsy was good, still with LCIS but no more neoplasia. Now I need to decide what medication to go on. I was recommended Tomoxifen by Cleveland clinic but have also watched U tube videos recommending aromatase inhibitors instead because they are more effective for LCIS but are not approved by the FDA. Apparently I need to see a medical oncologist to get on this medication but since I just had a back fusion and I need to grow bone, I don't think this would be wise. What research is out there for best meds for LCIS?
