I read an article about the folks at Washington University in St. Louis using targeted low dose radiation to treat ventricular arrhythmia. Any update on this new procedure? Can it be used in the future to treat AFIB? Had the watchman implanted 6 months ago. Now considering av node ablation and pacemaker for persistent afib. Will this stop the symptoms of afib?
I don't think I know enough to ask an intelligent question. Perhaps I'll have some after I hear about the latest treatments for arrythmias. I'm very interested as my heart is out of rhythm most of the time now after an ablation fixed it for nearly 10 years.
Are patients with tricuspid atresia eligible for transplants heart & lung transplants?
