Wed, Dec 7, 2022
1:00pm to 2:00pm CT

Description

People with cancer are living longer due to improved care, screening and newer treatments. The term “cancer survivor” identifies a community of people with a history of cancer, either at the time of diagnosis, during or after treatment. The effects of cancer do not end when treatment ends.

On Wednesday, December 7th, the Cancer Education Center presented its last Survivorship Webinar Series to address the needs of cancer survivors. Many topics were covered during the webinar sessions, in this last webinar staff of the Stephen and Barbara Slaggie Family Cancer Education Center, located in Rochester, Minnesota, provided viewers information on how to set obtainable goals, use a different mindset when trying to achieve goals, and learned four strategies to successfully make a desired change. Examples were provided throughout to make the learning applicable to possible goals you want to achieve.
