Bells and Whistles is an eclectic six-piece band based in Rochester, MN. They perform a delightful array of songs and genres, including 1950’s and 60’s oldies, Folk, Americana, Spirituals, Blues, and original songs.

Band members are: Marv Mitchell (bass and vocals), Laurel Podulke-Smith (vocals), Darin Podulke-Smith (banjo and vocals), Randy Crawford (rhythm guitar and vocals) Roger Nelson (lead guitar and vocals), and Alex Higano (Percussion).

Each band member brings a unique style and sensibility to the group, which allows them to blend musically. Listeners will be struck by the velvety three and four part harmonies, as well as the joyful effervescence that radiates from the pleasure of playing the songs they love.

Open to Mayo patients, physicians, students, administrators, and all other comers.
