The duo, comprised of siblings Rachel Johnson and Jeremy Johnson, blend rich harmonies with traditional and original lyrics, guitar, and sometimes some banjo to boot. Their songs are fresh and new while still paying homage to their roots –sometimes with a little tongue in cheek humor as in “Rebel on the Run”, which hints towards the Gaelic music that helped serve the music of the Appalachians.
