The Center for Health Equity and Community Engagement Research presents Cancer Conversations: Cancer and Culture.
Learn from panelists and survivors from diverse backgrounds who will share how culture, fear, stigma, and traditions influence seeking screening for cancer, sharing information after diagnosis, and support through living with cancer.
Mayo Clinic experts Dr. Shafii Mohamed will discuss preventive care, cancer, and culture considerations and Dr. Marcia Venegas Pont will discuss mammograms.
Light refreshments served from 12:30-1:00 pm
