TY all for replying!
Beside Cancer I have an unusual vision condition which may be a disorder however most eye docs interpret vision problem as cataract or acuity issue. May have self DX’d ( for a different forum )
And what I started to write about completely disappeared when my vision directed me to a place that changed the screen, Kole loosing power before you hit SAVE on your computer and your Nobel prizing winning story instantly is wiped from all history excep the one in my head
Was it me or was it MEMOR-X?
Now that this is posted maybe I can ask about starting a discussion and naming it too! Is that possible here? Or is it my vision disorder unclassified and unnamed by any Doctor with a degree who only seems to know how to look at the list of KNOWNS and not think about least consider the UNKNOWNS often to be found outside the lines sometimes in the shape of a BOX
LITTLE THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX; like maybe a TV show the strikes a cord or a story told here or even elsewhere.
Sometimes members might say: that sound like… or has anyone mentioned this or that? Inspiration from KNOW-WHERE!
Thoughts ? “ GOD “ is welcomed here!
@olman, you have started several discussions successfully. See instructions for starting a discussion and other items in the Help Center https://connect.mayoclinic.org/help-center
Hi Colleen,
TY for responding. I have this vision problem which results in a rapid inability to
“see normally” and I think that part of the problem is a reluctance to stay on a long read especially if I think a simple explanation might help me GROK what I need to/can do to accomplish what I’m aiming to do.
I will follow your link in hopes that early morning eyes will not start closing down before I find the answer to my question.
After posting this yesterday I thought that I found how to NAME my discussion but before I tried it I realized that there was a message that my new discussion would post in the PROSTATE forum which I’ve posted in the most and I think I got to where I was by following a link from my notifications.
Again, it seems that when I touch “ start a discussion “ the next screen wants me to select a group. I posted in “ just talk “ because that seemed most appropriate.
So you know: I’d like to name my discussion “ACCIDENTS HAPPEN” and the post I lost yesterday was the whole discussion. Still don’t know how or what I touched to make it disappear. Also I have not “ timed out “ since I posted that I had lost my place and when I found “ connects” again it wanted me to sign back in. I did find out the this forum needs a specific way of accessing this forum so when I tried signing in at mayoclinic.org my user name and password didn’t work.
I blame myself, my vision, getting older, and not quickly almost automatically GROKING. Everything about a subject almost instantly so I also worry about “ losing ME, my ability to do what I once did. I think I had a mild stroke in March. I remember that it was March 8th but I can’t remember if it was 2024 or 2025.
So all of these complaints about the current state of ME
I apologize for way too long posts and as my brother says: this is how your brain is working NOW.
I’ll read the link you sent and if you see a discussion “ACCIDENTS HAPPEN” you’ll know you helped me find out how to do something I’ve been struggling with AND if I already created (named) a discussion I have no idea how I did it
TY again!
