I favor a Mediterranean diet for arthritis and anti-inflammatory food choices with gluten avoidance.
Breakfast is gluten free granola with blueberries and
Yogurt with little bit of plain almond milk.
Coffee is on the healthy breakfast list as well.

Scrambled eggs! Lots of protein easy on the jaw. Also whole milk has way more protein than almond milk. Remember America got fat when our government started recommending low fat diets.

thanks for that but I also have non alcoholic fatty liver to consider.

Instant Oatmeal or any of the soft cereals, eggs, plain yogurt with added blueberries, cottage cheese. I think eggs are probably the most filling for me and you can add some cheese or finely chopped vegetables….either scrambled or an omelet. Yogurt is filling for me. You can always try light toast and take the crust off.

I remember when all those low fat cookies and such came out. They were loaded with more sugar.

Low fat/non fat dairy products, I’d be surprised if they contribute to getting fat. Trader Joe’s soy milk has soy and water, good protein. I’ve found a protein powder with five ingredients, Truvani, mixed with soy milk, 30 grams protein. Nonfat Greek yogurt, mix in a banana, gentle on the jaw breakfast, too ( a sprinkle of brown sugar helps the flavor 😂).

@tisme fats are what keep you full. However eggs don’t have a lot of fat. They have a lot of protein and protein will keep you full, but you have to eat a lot of it. There is a high protein silk brand soy milk that does a good job. You can switch to liquid eggs if you’re worried about fats. You can do fish. I come from Eastern European stock on my mom side and they do fish in the morning very soft, high protein, low fat parrot with fat free cream cheese. You can do fat-free cottage cheese.
I don’t think anyone needs to worry about the fat from an egg but if they do, they can get liquid egg whites at the store and that is all protein. I sometimes mix liquid egg whites with an egg.

also cholesterol , some people say, but that has been proven wrong. I eat a lot of eggs and my cholesterol is ok.

@closer0043 whole milk, as does much of the dairy is highly processed and may be an allergen to some.
America got fat because when low fat diets were recommended, many people felt they could eat more. Even the medical community had to learn that fats come in different shapes, sizes, and forms and that the type of fat makes a whole lot of difference!
Also, the government is not an expert on human nutrition.
