I am a 69 year old retired nurse, who has some osteoporosis. I take a few Balance Classes a week, plus chair Yoga a few times weekly. I walk about an hour a day, just to kind of do stretching and walking. I feel this helps my discomfort, and with the ailment.
This the information about the OsteoBoston presentation tonight
From Shelley Gladstein. FYI, since OsteoBoston began presenting speakers each has been posted to YouTube.

@gravity3 - I'm actually doing the Kaari online program Strength Training and Yoga for Osteoporosis now and I highly recommend it for people who have the interest and time to do it. While it's not cheap, it is very well organized with a lot of support from the coaches, including Michaela Smith. I bet the presentation she did for OsteoBoston was very informative.
