Age 68. Coming up on one year diagnoses anniversary. PSA was 6.4. Gleason 4+4/8. High blood pressure prevented me from having surgery so I started Lupron in Dec 21 and 20 radiation sessions in Feb 22. Second dose of Lupron in July 22. PSA currently undetectable.
Lots has been written about the negative effects of Lupron and I seem to be experiencing most of them, but I'm still here. Best of luck to all of you.
Diagnosed at 68 and prostatectomy soon followed. Recurrence at 69. Just completed 32 radiation treatments and Lupron injection. PSA at 0 again now. I just turned 70 during my treatments.
Now 72, was 54 at diagnosis with psa of 9.5
I’m 76. Diagnosed at 55, Gleason 4+3. Prostatectomy, recurrence, radiation. At 70 another recurrence. Went on Lupron. At 75 PSA rise. PSMA Pet scan found 4 pelvic lymph nodes with cancer. No other cancer detected. Underwent SBRT on the nodes, started Nubeqa. PSA undetectable. I highly recommend the newer PSMA scans. After 21 years with cancer I’m hoping for a cure. All the best to everyone dealing with cancer. It’s no picnic but good people are finding new ways to treat it all the time. Take charge!

I had my diagnosis at age 55 and I am now 71 and on my second recurrence 🥺
Dx at 70, 9/2020, gl 3 , now 73, gl 7, PSA 0.05.
Hello,
Good idea, get moving now. My PSA was 4.2. In my situation, it was worse than the number indicated to me. It had metastasized and was found in one lymph node too. However, the good news is my PSA level has been undetectable since my surgery, which was nine months ago. Good luck. Jerry
I am now 75, but first had undiagnosed PC at age 62. My brother had a prostatectomy at age 58.
He is now 86.
