In December of 2021 I found out or was informed my PSA was over 500 ( that in itself is a story) but anyways after last year's Christmas I did another blood test which showed a PSA of 1820

I rarely reply, but my heart goes out to you for the emotions you are most likely experiencing. I wish you the best and suggest you focus on whatever positive things you can. Seek out someone to talk to that will support you and your decisions. Best of all, appreciate that time will ease your concerns and let you focus on your treatments.

@gregorylynn I will be 83 in April, and I have dozens of illnesses, diseases and crap. From Central Sleep Apnea to Gelsolin (Myeloma, Amyloidosis and dilated cardiomyopathy), many cancers, some active some not. I have had 55 cancer surgeries and treatment threads. Some helped; most were a waste of money, time and worry. A few even did some good. Methotrexate injections have slowed the progression dramatically. The most painful. and frightening have been CPVT and skin cancers (Torres del Muir) along with approaching dementia. But two rules have helped. 1. Emphasize OTC meds wherever you can. 2. Go ahead and play football or whatever. I played, coached, officiated as long as I could. Now I mostly just watch in on TV and wish I was out there with Aaron Rodgers and Justin Herbert. So go have some fun. My birth doc said I would not live to see my third birthday. oldkarl
