vlamb, I think you are looking at the full body composition scan differentiated from the dexa bone scan. https://blog.radiology.virginia.edu/why-should-i-get-a-dexa-body-composition-scan/ While the full body scan give doesn't diagnose osteoporosis, it can alert you to the need for a dexa bone scan.
