What foods and/or supplements contribute to Amyloid Plaque buildup? Are eggs, red meat, dairy, sugar, processed foods, or teflon coated pans the biggest contributors to amyloid plaque buildup on the brain?

mainly red meat, processed meat, but also fried foods and sugar they say.

Thank you very much. Also, highly processed foods?

drkerr, some highly processed foods have healthful additives. Homogenized non-fat milk, for example, that is filtered twice for fat and sugar and is supplemented with vitamin D is better on all counts than raw milk, I would suggest. Associative studies show that coffee, certainly a processed food may prevent or delay the progression of alzheimers. https://www.acs.org/pressroom/presspacs/2023/july/espresso-can-prevent-alzheimers-protein-clumping-in-lab-tests.html
