What brought you joy today?
If you've been living with cancer for a while, you know it's not all gloom and doom. Where did you find joy today? I'll start:
1. Working in my garden.
2. Meeting my daughter for tea.
3. Home-made pizza for dinner.
4. My spouse (always).
5. Some interesting online discussions.
6. Rereading a good novel.

Is Joy. Sometimes joy means just having my son or daughter seem interested in what I am saying. I am 84 yrs old and somewhat disappointed in the way of the world. The young people seem to have lost respect for just about everything so anytime I hear or see them showing respect for old people, it

2 ReactionsWhat brought me joy last night was feeling well enough to go rehearse with my community choir. Instead of feeling like "someone going through chemo", I felt like a normal person doing what I love.

1 Reaction@wdytys Sounds great! I add dried cranberries and raisins (which rehydrate when I pour the boiling water onto the oats), but same idea.
Oatmeal with sweet strawberries.
