What brought you joy today?
If you've been living with cancer for a while, you know it's not all gloom and doom. Where did you find joy today? I'll start:
1. Working in my garden.
2. Meeting my daughter for tea.
3. Home-made pizza for dinner.
4. My spouse (always).
5. Some interesting online discussions.
6. Rereading a good novel.

You’re so right! We’re lucky that many treatments are available to cancer patients today. Thank you for starting this threat so we can share good news and cheer for one another. You’ve been through a lot and yet your spirit is still strong. My hat is off to you.
"I’m counting on Exemestane to keep the cancer in full remission for a long time."
I am hoping the same from Orgovyx and Apalutamide with my prostate cancer. If the word "luck" can ever apply to cancer, we're lucky to be experiencing these cancers when we are, with so many new treatment options available.
A cure would be much better, but in the meantime, if 5 pills a day keep my cancer away, I can live with that. 🙂
Me, too. 🌷💕
@my44 @northoftheborder Thank you! I’m counting on Exemestane to keep the cancer in full remission for a long time.
Congratulations on a good report. I am so happy for you!
Wishing you continued good health and good reports.🌷💕
My MRI came back clear!
@scottbeammeup, so you're the culprit behind those boring manuals... 😠 ...just kidding...
Just so you know, I do appreciate the manuals, and I read or refer to them when I need to. And I usually find them helpful. 👍🏼
Enjoy your retirement!
I plan to do some free lance contracting as well. I'm a tech and business writer so there's always work. Those boring manuals you get with software, appliances, etc. I write those. I'm also a master at writing speeches for high level corporate people that sound important but don't say much of anything. 😃
My Oncologist ordered a genetic testing for me, had a consult, blood drawn. Well the doctor who did the testing called yesterday and said they tested 73 somethings and they came back normal. Not sure what this all means but he said it's good news and I'm going to run with that, Good news is always a good feeling. I have monthly meeting with my Oncologist next Tuesday and of course my wife will be with me to ask any questions. I feel good. Best to all.
Congratulations! I've been forced into semi-retirement this year because my employer is scaling back on part-time work (I'll still be affiliated, but doing only the occasional project). Since I enjoy my work, it feels a bit too early to stop working at age 60, though I'd already been thinking of a change. I'm taking a couple of months to reset before I start looking for new consulting contracts.
