Waiting for pathology report over a week is that normal?

I think that's pretty normal. One of my pathology reports took a little over 2 weeks because they were backed up. They often have to send the sample out to another lab and that takes time as well.

I have waited longer for a simple pathology of a hive!! Labs and doctors offices are suffering from lack of personnel so things sometimes get backed up. And sometimes it had to be sent to a specialty lab. I know how difficult and scary it can be waiting for an answer. I'm sorry.
