Very uncomfortable, not much helping

I do have an appointment with a dr this week. And no, its not likely to be the big virus thats going around. And its not depression.

Im feeling very uncomfortable. Body aches, headaches, bad fatigue and weakness. No fever, low grade if any. Loss of appetite. Anyway, im just very restless, uncomfortable all the time. Im weak and feel tired and ill. I struggle with a reactivating ebstein barr virus.

Anyway, tylenol, ibuprofen...they havent been helping. I finally just took some old pain medication, which helps.but i know i cant take it all the time, just desperate at the moment. Im not here for an earful, just frustrated and wanting any advice if this has effected you.

Im tired of feeling awful, everyday. I cant do much. I do things like, relax in many different ways, eat clean, warm shower, hot tea, drink lots of water, distract, rest.

This may be ebv reactivation. Hopefully dr visit will shed some light. Thanks for listening.

@januaryjane What day this week is your appointment? Are you keeping any written journal of the symptoms, their occurrence, how long they last,etc? It might help the doctor see a pattern. Will you come back and let us know what your medical team says, please?

@januaryjane What day this week is your appointment? Are you keeping any written journal of the symptoms, their occurrence, how long they last,etc? It might help the doctor see a pattern. Will you come back and let us know what your medical team says, please?

Yes, i keep things written down when i remember. My appointment is Thursday. My mom is helping drive, 3 hours away. This time we are just going up and back. I cancelled my therapy appointment for tomorrow so i can rest and save energy. Its 1 1\2 hour drive just to go to my therapist, she is worth it though. Last week i think i pushed myself, which has led to this mess. Pretty sure its the ebv now. I cant wait to see this guy, i have so many questions. Please pray for me. Thanks all

@januaryjane I hope things go well at your appointment tomorrow and you get some answers and some help. It's miserable to feel so unwell and not know what the cause is. Rest up today and please let us know how things go after you have seen the doctor.

Thank you all. Unfortunately, they called the day before to cancel. I was pretty upset, they should have handled it better. Anyway, it is what it is. On the cancellation list but it will be 3 more months. I did find one specialist in my state for Erythromelalgia, hes a Dermatologist. Think i will try to get ahold of him. I did get an appointment in May for the Sacral Nerve Stimulator consult. Glad about that!

Hello @januaryjane,

I am sorry to hear that your appointment was canceled, however, doctors seem to be canceling all appointments that are non-essential. I've had two consultations canceled this past month as well. I hope that you will get in to see the specialist soon.

When is your appointment for the Sacral Nerve Stimulator consult?

@januayjane Sorry your appt. was cancelled .I cancelled an appt on the 30th for the neuro. The receptionist sounded relieved when I called . I do have to go out today but have a mask and gloves I will be wearing. This virus is really spreading fast .

Sorry about you cancellations. My appt for the stimulator is the middle of May.

@januaryjane Oh, that's so disappointing for your appointment to get canceled when you had your hopes up that you would be getting some relief. I hope you are on the waitlist and can manage to get in sooner, but I presume the cancellation was caused by cutting back on non-essential medical appointments due to isolation requirements.
I hope the appointments you do have will prove fruitful.
