Very Sad news

Posted by lovemymom1 @lovemymom1, Jan 28 5:56pm

I joined this group back in September when my Mom was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. After a 5 month journey she lost her battle Jan 27 to this awful cancer. Most difficult thing to go through and to watch your own mother have to go through. We are very thankful she was comfortable and didn't experience a lot of pain and passed peacefully. Thank you to everyone who responded to my questions. I wish all of you who are either going through this with a loved one or have this cancer the very best

I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. I remember reading your other posts. I lost my husband to lung cancer in July. It's not an easy time for either of us. However, we have to remember that your mom and my husband are both up in Heaven with God and Jesus and all the angels plus their loved ones who have gone before. Also they are out of any pain or uncomfortableness that they experienced. Eventually, we will be reunited with them. This has helped me get through the hard times. Pray and ask God to help you get through this sad time and he will. I will say a prayer for you also.

I am so sorry to hear about your husband. It is difficult but it does give me peace knowing she is home with her Lord and Savior even though it's still hard here and we miss them I'm happy to know your husband is there too. Prayers for healing for you too

I recall your first post and by your post I could tell how much you cared for your mom. So sad to see she had such a short journey. I feel your pain. So difficult to see a parent go through this cancer, but miraculously the pain she experienced was minimal. I lost my father in 8 months and he too and thankfully experienced only pain or discomfort his very last day. I was so confused that day I even called 911 even though he was a DNR (do not resuscitate). Hospice offered a service for survivors and I’m glad I went to it; maybe you have something similar available to you as well? By father went through his pancreatic cancer with dignity that he is my inspiration today in my own journey. My prayers with you and your mother.
