Vanishing twin syndrome??
I had my daughter 8 years ago. During my first trimester I was rushed to the emergency room due to heavy bleeding and clotting. The emergency doctor told me I was miscarrying. I was later told by an ultrasound tech that I had a torn placenta and the scarring was visible. I know it sounds silly to ask but is it possible that I miscarried her twin?

That said, I wonder if you'd be willing to share a bit more for instance, were you told you were pregnant with twins at any point prior to your experience? Did you know about vanishing twin syndrome at that time and suspect that to be the case?
