Vaginal and anal cancer after HPV. Stage 2
Almost a year and a half ago I was diagnosed with this cancer. I've had Insurance through the Marketplace. Testing has been done, however no actual treatment has begun, A chemo port was put in place but had to be removed due to infection. There are only two dates that the port is necessary to get chemo. The center where I have been going to hasn't done anything to date. No radiation and no chemo. I'm worried.

Have you questioned the oncologist about the delayed, & expressed your concern? If so, what was their response? I would be concerned too. You don’t want your condition to advance. Your insurance status should not diminish your care!
@nelsonjm This is very puzzling to me. I'm with @amyb5 and wondering if you have contacted your oncologist about not starting treatment and asking about the delay. I'm recommending what I do myself and what I recommend others do here. Please advocate for yourself. If this means calling a medical office to ask about an appointment or talking with your doctor then keep calling until you do talk with your doctor.
What have you tried to get your treatment plan back on track - even though I know this should not be up to you?
I think. I would move on to a second opinion .
Good morning. Please get another opinion. I had Stage II vaginal cancer from HPV that recurred twice before the only way to fully irradicate it was to have total pelvic exenteration. Please take care.
