Urinary urge

Posted by wabbit9 @wabbit9, 6 hours ago

When I have an urge to urinate, no urine, but when I sit down on the toilet, I get an 'electrical' buzz that travels up to my face and down to my fingers.
Drinking several large glasses of water returns me to normal.
Has anyone ever heard of this ?
My urologist PA has never heard of it.

Hi,
Apparently, you must be getting dehydrated if several glasses of water returns you to normal. I'm 79 and I've noticed that as I am older, I require more water now than I used to. Just drink a lot of water. Take a bottle or two of water with you when you go places like to a doctor's appointment where you may have to wait a while. Water helps all aspects of your body.

I have no idea what the electrical buzz is but it might be a side effect of dehydration since it goes away when you drink water.
I wish you the best.

It happens in spite of my drinking liquids before...
The buzz is briefly painful, but goes away after 1 min.

I'm sorry. I misunderstood about the buzz. Maybe if you did some research online about it you could figure out what it exactly is and how it is treated . Start perhaps with the Mayo Clinic and possibly also some other major medical facilities.
