Tymlos injections

Posted by tbrinks @tbrinks, Oct 15 8:01am

I have just started on Tymlos and stated at 40mg and moved up to the full dose. Experiencing bone pain. Anyone else? Any other tips to try to avoid this pain.

Thank you.

@tbrinks is it possible this bone pain is due to bone growth (as in "growing pains")? I don't know. I did find that side effects eased over time. Are you sure this is bone pain? I can't tell the difference anymore between bone and muscle pain! In any case, you have pain...I found that walking over 20 minutes helped a lot, also tai chi.

Thank you. It is definitely bone pain as it came on after I started my full dose. I will try the walking daily and see how that goes.

Bone pain is one of the possible side effects. You might want to let your doctor know.
