Twitching - tongue
Hi. Long time twitcher (2.5yrs). Standard tests run over a year ago and were all fine. I’ve noticed minor changes in my speech - mostly long s’s (am having tongue issues: film, scalloped edges, pain). I have significant GERD which is impacting my mouth. Given the tongue issues, I’m looking at it more. Anytime I look, there are fine twitches in the middle of the tongue - worse when extended. I may have noticed it back when I first started twitching but I can’t really remember. I attempted to find reassurance that this was normal or at least not worrisome and - of course - online research made matters much worse. Has anyone here experienced small, consistent tongue twitches that were fine? I can’t feel them - only see the them. Thank you.

Have you seen a neurologist? Had EMG testing?
I have had a lot of twitching in my body for decades due to a rare neuropathy but not my tongue.
I saw a neurologist over a year ago and had an MRI, EMG, and EEG. All normal just no diagnosis.
