Who do I see for osteoporosis? Rheumatologist, endocrinologist?

Either. Pick the one that you feel comfortable with.

hi kozey1964, it is best to find an endocrinologist who specializes in osteoporosis. Both specialties are involved with a number of diseases. Osteoporosis is primarily an endocrine disorder. But even when osteoporosis is caused by autoimmune diseases (more in the rheumatology field) the best treatments are endocrine. You might look for someone who has interest in osteoporosis. Some endocrinologists focus on diabetes. And some rheumatologist focus on osteoporosis. You might find some one good in either specialty.
