Tibial plateau fracture (TPF): Has anyone else been told no more ROM?
Type V TPF. 11 months ago, skiing injury. I have reached functional ROM. At my last visit with my surgeon, I was told I can ski (if I somehow magically appear on the hilltop in all of my gear), no resistance on my stationary bike, and no more range of motion exercises. I have been walking about a mile a day, but snow and ice make that challenging. Doc thought an elliptical would be good. Has anyone else been told no more ROM? I do anticipate HWR and joint replacement.

It must be so hard to be surrounded by snow and ice and to not be able to hit the slopes. What physical therapy have you done or are you doing?
Thanks! I have been told to stop ROM exercises. To accept functionality. I am walking, doing squats, a small stair, different kicks; standing or laying on floor. Side planks, bridges, seated extensions. A few different balancing styles on bum leg. I did a short snow shoe.
